This tape was developed to protect and bind the wire harnesses
(bundles of electrical wires) that extend throughout cars.
A wide variety of colors aids in the identification of particular
wires. In the past, vinyl tape contained lead compounds as
thermal stabilizers, but in consideration of the environment,
we developed a vinyl tape that uses a calcium-zinc material
instead. We have also made our tape as thin as possible (0.07µm)
and are working to reduce halogen content.
• Contains no lead compounds.
• Flame retardant quality inhibits the spread of fires
in automobiles.
• Does not change color even in the presence of sulfurous
gases.
