Amid the pressure of the fifth wave of epidemic, social activities are reduced and blood collection has therefore dropped significantly. The supply is not sufficient to meet the daily blood demand from local hospitals.
In response to the appeal of Hong Kong Red Cross to the public for blood donation and replenishment of the blood inventories, Nitto Denko (HK) Co., Ltd. has arranged a group blood donation event in Aug 2022. About 20% of staff has joined such meaningful event.
